I firmly believe that the ability to improvise effectively is the most important skill of the twenty-first century. We live in a rapidly changing world and we need to be able to adapt to that change with other people if we are to succeed and thrive, at home or at work.
Learning improv skills, mindsets, and techniques can teach us to slow down, suspend judgement, and become present and mindful in any type of encounter, making us more efficient and productive in any communication. It can make us better leaders, enabling our teams, organizations, and even decision-making processes to become more inclusive, collaborative, and diverse. It can make us better storytellers, making our messaging more memorable and clear. And it will create a more confident mindset, reducing stress in the workplace and enhancing any presentation, whether it’s a sales pitch, a keynote, or a weekly meeting.
I have over ten thousand hours of using improv skills to help my students and clients become better communicators, better leaders, better people.
